The McGill chapter of Journalists for Human Rights invites you to our “Train the Trainer” Conference, which will be held the weekend of March 7th and 8th in the SSMU building. 

This workshop will provide you with a Human Rights Training Certificate.  The workshop will include training on the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms; the International Convention on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, and Convention on the Rights of the child; as well as the relationship between media and human rights.  The workshop will develop skills in participatory facilitation, conflict resolution, developing learning outcomes, program evaluation and creating media campaigns.

Space at the conference is limited, so please respond as soon as possible.  We will be accepting applicants until December 2, 2008.
