Internship Panel!

JHR McGill and the Faculty of Arts Internship Office are hosting an internship event with McGill students who have completed internships in Canada and abroad! Come out and get internship advice or travelling tips from the interns themselves! Perfect for students planning future internships or about to partake in one of their own.

Speakers:

– Rachael Graber, who interned at the Diocesan Commission for Justice and Peace (CODIJUP) in Oaxaca, Mexico. CODIJUP acts as a public defence by providing free legal service.

– Mary MacLennan, who interned at Kapital Radio in Kumasi, Ghana. In addition to co-producing health and human rights shows, she reported on stories ranging from Obama’s visit to a speech by the First Lady.

– Megan Mitton, who interned with the Canadian Journalists for Free Expression in Toronto, an organisation that advocates for the freedom of the press and expression throughout the world.

– Marc Trussler, who interned at the Ghanaian Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice in Accra. The Commission is a government body that investigates and promotes human rights in Ghana.
